Project funding

Project MAELSTROM is funded by EuroHPC JU, a public-private partnership, which is again funded by the European Union, almost all their member countries, a few other associated countries, and two private partners.
MAELSTROM will contribute significantly to EuroHPC JU's overall mission: to develop a pan-European supercomputing infrastructure, and to facilitate European research and innovation activities.

In Germany, MAELSTROM is co-funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

In Luxembourg, MAELSTROM is co-funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund.

In Norway, MAELSTROM is co-funded by the Research Council of Norway.
